Rule New-Style 360-1100 GPH Marine Bilge Pump Side-Mount Bracket RWB820

This Rule mounting bracket is intended to support a compatible pump where the installation calls for mounting against a bulkhead or transom. It offers an alternative mounting arrangement to fixing the pump directly at its base. Correct pump generation and attachment geometry matter more than a visual resemblance to another bracket.

Choosing and using this product

Compare the pump model and its base arrangement with the stated compatibility before ordering. Old-style round-base and newer-generation pumps use different mounting solutions, so identify the existing equipment carefully. Check that the chosen position leaves enough space for the discharge hose, wiring and removal of the pump for maintenance.

The supporting surface must be suitable for the loads and fixing method of the complete installation. Select fasteners and backing arrangements in accordance with the mounting instructions and the boat’s construction. Do not drill a hull or transom without establishing what is behind the surface and how any penetrations will be sealed. A marine installer can assess an uncertain mounting position.

After fitting, check that the pump is held securely and that the hose does not force it out of alignment. Keep the inlet accessible and confirm that the arrangement allows the pump to collect water as intended. Test the completed system with water rather than assuming that a secure bracket alone establishes correct pumping performance.
