Right-Hand Sail Repair Kit with Sewing Palm Needles Waxed Thread and Beeswax
Keep the basic equipment for a small hand-sewn sail repair together in this right-hand kit. It contains a standard sailmaker’s palm, five assorted premium needles in a tube, waxed sewing thread and beeswax, packed in a blister display.
About this product
The palm supports pressure behind the needle while the thread and wax are used in the stitching work. Put needles back in their tube after use, particularly when working on deck or over upholstery. Additional patch cloth is not included.
A kit does not make every tear suitable for an onboard hand repair. Have damage to structural panels or loaded seams assessed by an experienced sailmaker. The palm is not protective clothing for the whole hand.
