The Oceansouth Universal Outboard Cowling Storage Cover – 175–250hp protects the outboard cowling when the engine is inactive.

About this product

UV-resistant, water-repellent polyester shields the outboard cowling from sun, dust and grime while the engine is inactive. This cover protects the cowling only, rather than extending down the motor leg.

The range suits two-stroke and four-stroke outboards within the stated cowling dimensions. Use it for storage or trailering; it is not a vented cover for running the engine.

The current manufacturer details specify woven, dope-dyed 340g/m² ATLAS polyester with reinforced top-stitched seams. A pull drawstring tightens the lower edge around the cowling base. These construction details apply to the storage cover; it must not remain on the cowling while the motor is operating.
