This Oceansouth pedestal slider moves a boat seat forwards or backwards above its pedestal.
About this product
The slider gives the seat 110mm of fore-and-aft travel, allowing the distance to the helm and throttle to be adjusted without moving the pedestal’s deck mounting. A lever positioned within reach of the seated occupant releases the sliding adjustment. This is useful where several people share the helm and need different seating positions.
Marine-grade aluminium forms the sliding assembly. It mounts between a compatible seat and pedestal using the standard 175mm (7-inch) mounting pattern, and is designed to work with Oceansouth seats and pedestals as well as other seats using that pattern. Its low-profile format adds adjustment to an existing seating installation rather than requiring a complete replacement pedestal.
Four stainless-steel screws are included for the pedestal connection. This listing is the slider component; its movement is forwards and backwards, distinct from the separate swivel function offered by a swivel assembly.
