Oceansouth Mercury 40HP/50HP/60HP Full Outboard Cover – 25in, 2008+
This full-length Oceansouth cover protects the Mercury outboard during storage and trailering. It fits 40HP/ 50HP/ 60HP – 4STR 4CYL 995CC (2008 onwards), with a 635mm (25") shaft.
About this product
The Atlas marine fabric forms a water-resistant, breathable outer cover. A soft felt lining sits between the fabric and the motor finish. The coating also provides UV protection.
An elasticised hem shapes the cover around the engine mount. A heavy-duty No. 10 marine zip closes around the skeg. Double-stitched seams reinforce the fabric joins.
The full cover can fit over the matching Oceansouth vented or cowling storage cover already on the engine, so that inner cover need not be removed for storage or trailering. For the full-cover size, shaft length is measured vertically from the top of the transom to the cavitation plate; it is distinct from the overall height of the motor.
