This Oceansouth cover protects the specified Lewmar low- or medium-profile yacht hatch. This version is Round 18 - 490mm (Diameter) / Grey.

About this product

The low- or medium-profile pattern is tailored to the named Lewmar hatch rather than being a universal cover for any opening of a similar size. It can remain fitted with the hatch open or closed. The cover accommodates the specified 10–30mm hatch profile height.

Breathable 310g/m² ATLAS marine fabric helps reduce trapped condensation while protecting the hatch from UV exposure and weather. The fabric is water-resistant and resists mould and mildew. Double-lapped seams reinforce its joins, and the elasticised hem follows the edge of the hatch frame.

A drawstring with a cleat-toggle closure secures the hem. For fitting, Oceansouth directs the user to leave the rope in the small toggle cleat, position the cover around the back of the hatch with the logo facing the hatch opening, then stretch it forward so the elasticated edge seats under the frame.

The selected hatch model, shape and dimensions define this version. Oceansouth directs owners of non-Lewmar hatches, or hatches with externally fitted hinges, to its universal hatch-cover range instead.
