About this product
This slip-over cover encloses the seat and supporting structure of a standard leaning post, the type commonly fitted to centre-console and fishing boats. It shields the upholstery and exposed surfaces between trips rather than covering the boat’s helm or instrument console.
The ATLAS Silver Soft canvas is made from 380gsm dope-dyed polyester. Its water resistance helps keep rain and spray off the covered assembly, while UV resistance reduces the exposure that can fade or dry marine upholstery. The fabric also provides a barrier against dirt, salt spray and bird droppings while the boat is not in use.
A soft felt layer backs the outer canvas. This softer inner face rests against upholstery and finished surfaces, helping limit rubbing and scratching where the fabric touches the leaning post. The cover slips over the assembly, and an elasticated hem gathers around the base without a complicated strap arrangement.
The selected width, length and height below define this version’s fit. Oceansouth lists the cover for storage, mooring and trailering. It can be removed when the leaning post is needed and refitted afterwards; the leaning post and its upholstery are not supplied with the cover.
