About this product
Breathable, water-resistant 280 g/m² ATLAS polyester shields the inflatable during storage and transport. The fabric resists UV exposure, mould and mildew, and double-lapped seams reinforce the joins.
Tie-down cleats, rope and marine fittings secure the fabric around the dinghy. Match both boat length and maximum beam to the dimensions below.
For road trailering, Oceansouth specifies taut tie-downs without overtightening and regular checks during the journey. Above 60km/h, it recommends two additional light ratchet straps over the bow, secured to opposite sides of the trailer; these straps are not included. Pad protruding fittings that contact the fabric to reduce rubbing and wear.
Oceansouth lists the fabric at UPF 50+ for UV protection and describes it as resistant to abrasion and tearing. The material is designed to retain its shape rather than stretch and sag over the boat.
