A pair of 1650mm split-shaft rowing oars supplied with oarlocks.
About this product
Each 35mm anodised aluminium shaft separates into two sections for carrying and storage. Flat, UV-resistant polypropylene blades measure 595mm long by 140mm wide, with polypropylene grips at the handling ends.
This configuration supplies adjustable oarlocks with heavy-duty nylon pins and stainless-steel fittings. The pins are 12mm in diameter and 70mm long. The fittings can be positioned along the shafts to suit the rowing arrangement, while the selected length describes each complete assembled oar.
Two oars are supplied for rowing a compatible small boat. The alternative sleeve-equipped pair is a separate version; this listing is for the oarlock configuration stated above. Separating the shafts reduces their packed length without changing the working length when assembled.
