About this product
The 35mm anodised aluminium shafts separate into two sections, reducing the packed length for carrying and storage aboard a small boat. Each oar has a flat UV-resistant polypropylene blade measuring 595mm long by 140mm wide, with a polypropylene hand grip at the other end.
This version is supplied with marine-grade nylon oar sleeves, rather than the alternative oarlock fittings. Each sleeve is 45mm in diameter and 85mm long and can be positioned along the shaft to suit the rowing arrangement. The selected length identifies the complete assembled oar.
The pair provides two matching oars for rowing a compatible dinghy or boat. The split-shaft connection is intended for disassembly between uses; it does not make the assembled length telescopically adjustable. The oarlock version is a separate configuration, so its pins should not be assumed to be supplied with this sleeve-equipped pair.
