This Oceansouth deck and cockpit cushion adds removable padding to a suitable boat seating surface. This version is 1200mm x 300mm / Navy Blue (Polyester Fabric).
About this product
A 65mm foam core provides cushioning, with heavy-duty PVC mesh beneath it to let water drain. The cover has a size 5 marine-grade zip, and stainless-steel male and female studs attach the cushion securely.
Blue and grey cushions use Atlas marine-grade polyester; white cushions use PVC fabric. The cushion is UV- and weather-resistant, with a colour-fastness-to-light rating of 6–7. Piping colour may range from light grey to dark grey.
The press-stud arrangement allows the cushion to be detached from the seating surface when it is not required. The mesh underside gives water a drainage route instead of holding it against a solid backing. This makes the cushion suitable for exposed deck and cockpit seating as well as a boat bench of the stated size.
This version is at least 1200mm long and has a hinge through its middle, allowing it to fold for more compact storage. The hinge is part of the cushion design; it does not change the full length when the cushion is laid out for use.
The selected blue or grey version uses 310gsm ATLAS marine-grade fabric.
