Oceansouth Boat Seat Box with Storage Compartment - 415mm MA 800-3
Oceansouth Boat Seat Box with Storage Compartment - 415mm
This Oceansouth seat box places an integrated storage compartment beneath a boat-seat mount. This version is 415mm.
About this product
This version combines a seat mounting base with a contained storage compartment. The compartment gives smaller boating items a dedicated place below the seating position, while the surrounding seat-box housing provides the deck-mounted support.
The housing is moulded from UV-treated marine-grade ABS plastic, with a clean white finish and a slight taper towards the top. Its rigid door closes against a 6mm rubber gasket, and a stainless-steel locking handle and clasp secure the opening. The smooth exterior can be wiped clean or hosed down.
The internal compartment measures 290mm high × 190mm wide × 280mm deep. Its door measures 375mm × 272mm × 15mm, and the compartment projects 15mm from the mounting surface. Eight fixing points and included M4 stainless-steel screws secure the compartment assembly.
Twelve fastening points around the 440mm × 440mm base footprint secure the seat box to the deck. The supplied hardware includes stainless-steel deck screws, a standard 7-inch metal swivel and stainless-steel swivel-mounting bolts. Installation instructions are included; the boat seat is not.
The stated box height excludes the swivel’s additional 25mm. The seating connection suits Oceansouth boat seats and most other brands. A compatible aluminium locking swivel and slider can be fitted as an alternative, but is sold separately. This listing supplies the contained storage version, not the model with five tackle boxes.
