A domed vent that allows air to circulate through a fabric boat cover.
About this product
The UV-resistant marine plastic dome shields the vent opening while leaving a path for airflow beneath it. Four stainless steel screws hold the upper dome, cover fabric and lower vent together.
The assembly can be fitted to different fabric cover materials. Its outer dome measures 112 × 107 × 35mm, with a 65 × 60mm vent opening.
For installation, Oceansouth specifies positioning the protective opening downward rather than facing the sky, so rain is not directed into it. The inner base serves as the template for the fabric opening. The base sits beneath the cover and the outer dome above it, with four stainless-steel screws clamping the two parts around the fabric.
