Oceansouth Adjustable 6-Rod Rocket Launcher Fishing Rod Rack MA 100
Oceansouth Adjustable 6-Rod Rocket Launcher Fishing Rod Rack
A fold-down rocket-launcher rack that stores six fishing rods overhead.
About this product
The overhead frame carries six high-impact, non-corrosive polymer rod holders with a metallic-look finish. Its 32mm anodised aluminium tube structure is joined by marine-grade nylon connectors and mounting fittings, providing rod storage above the boat rather than along the cockpit floor.
The frame can be configured to a maximum height of 1.64m and a maximum mounting span of 2.4m. The rack width is 1.9m. Two crossbars can be shortened evenly at both sides to fit the required arrangement before they are inserted into the uprights.
Thumb screws at the two rear universal base mounts allow the rack to fold down flat on the gunwales. This gives a lower stored position without treating the whole assembly as a permanently upright structure.
Optional rail mounts provide an alternative to the standard mounting arrangement, while separate navigation-light mounts can attach accessories to the 32mm frame. Rod holders are also available as replacement components. These optional items are not automatically included with the rack.
The six-holder layout keeps rods together and out of the way between uses. Oceansouth also describes compatibility with a bimini shade extension by passing its straps through the rocket launcher and attaching them to an existing bimini pole.
