Oceansouth’s four-bow Classic Stainless Steel Bimini offers 2.20 m of canopy coverage along the boat. This version is 1.7m - 1.9m / Dark Grey.
About this product
The canopy combines 400g/m² ATLAS fabric with a 25mm 316 stainless steel frame. Nylon straps secure both ends, and rigid rear support poles can be purchased separately.
The frame starts at 1.25m high and can be trimmed to 1.10m for the installation. Breathable, water-resistant fabric forms the canopy. Oceansouth specifies on-water operation up to 40 knots.
The canopy width for this size is 1.6m; the corresponding mounting-width range is 1.7–1.9m.
An integrated storage boot is built into the underside of the canopy. When the top is retracted, the fabric packs into this attached cover instead of leaving loose canopy material aboard. Releasing the deck mounts allows the assembly to be taken off the boat when the seating or deck area needs to be cleared.
The kit includes the framework, canopy, crossbars and fittings needed to assemble the bimini. The screws or fasteners that fix the mounts to the boat are not supplied, because they must suit the boat’s mounting material. Oceansouth provides an installation guide covering frame assembly, canopy attachment and securing the fittings.
Optional rear support poles provide an upright resting position for the folded top; they are not included with this strap-supported version. Rail mounting is also possible using the appropriate optional knuckles. Oceansouth’s standard knuckle is for a 25mm rail, so a different rail diameter requires a matching attachment.
