Clip-On Wind Indicator 200mm Vane for 45-50mm Masts Starling Optimist Blokart
Clip this 200mm vane onto 45–50mm masts on the listed Starling, Optimist and Blokart applications for a visible wind-direction reference. One indicator is supplied; the picture represents the mast-fit range.
About this product
Made in New Zealand from UV-stabilised acetal plastic, the vane and integral clip provide the complete stated mast attachment. The maker describes accurate response in wind above 2 knots, not a wind-speed readout.
Place it clear of sails and rigging so the vane can move freely and remain visible. Local disturbed airflow still affects the indication, so use it alongside the craft’s behaviour and sail trim.
