This 32ft TSK Superflex control cable is made in Japan for compatible outboard, inboard and sterndrive engine-control applications. It has stainless steel ends and a blue polyethylene outer jacket.
About this product
Inside the cable, a ribbed nylon-covered core runs within a spiral-wire outer. This construction provides a flexible mechanical connection between the control and engine, allowing movement to travel along the routed cable rather than through a rigid linkage.
The blue outer covering is resistant to UV and oil, properties relevant to a cable run in a marine engine-control installation. The broad application range does not make the cable interchangeable with every control arrangement: the end connections and required run length still need to correspond to the system.
