Multiflex EDGE OMC 1979-On Control Cable - 21ft

This 21ft Multiflex EDGE control cable connects Johnson, Evinrude and BRP controls from 1979 onwards. Made in Australia, it uses the EDGE low-friction splined core to transfer movement through the cable run.

About this product

The flexible cable links the control mechanism to the engine, carrying movement along the routed installation. Its splined core is designed for low-friction movement, and the specified minimum bend radius is 100mm. That radius remains a routing limit, even though the cable is flexible.

This version has OMC-type brass and plastic ends. The end configuration and application are just as important as the 21ft length: the EDGE range includes different connection types, so the family name alone does not establish compatibility. The illustration shows the cable design or end arrangement rather than the full supplied length.
