This Rule float switch provides water-level control for a compatible submersible bilge pump. It allows the pump to start and stop in response to rising and falling bilge water when the system is installed and wired correctly. Choosing the right switch involves checking the pump’s electrical demand as well as the space available around the float.

Choosing and using this product

Allow unobstructed movement around the float and position it in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Loose cables, hoses or debris can interfere with operation, so the surrounding bilge area needs to remain clear. Ensure that the mounting location can be reached for inspection and testing without dismantling unrelated equipment.

Compare the stated switching limit with the pump’s requirements at the boat’s actual supply voltage.
