This heavy-duty Rule bilge pump is intended for a marine water-removal system where a higher-capacity submersible pump is required. It uses a separate switching arrangement, so automatic operation requires a compatible float switch. Choosing and using this product

A bilge pump is one part of a complete water-management installation. Consider the expected water ingress, the discharge height and the route out of the boat rather than choosing on the headline flow figure alone. Hose length, bends, fittings and vertical lift can reduce the amount of water delivered in service. Keep the inlet accessible so that accumulated dirt can be removed during routine checks.
