YachtSpec 3000 Dark Grey UHMWPE Rope 3mm x 100m Low-Stretch 12-Plait Reel
YachtSpec 3000 provides a low-stretch 3mm line for the stated trailer-winch, yacht-control, flagpole and hauling applications. One 100m dark-grey reel is supplied; the enlarged rope illustration is neither a complete-reel view nor a size scale.
About this product
The 12-plait UHMWPE braid has a heat-treated abrasion-resistant coating. It floats, resists UV and takes up no water, with published elongation below 5%. These properties support applications where movement in the loaded line needs to remain limited.
The 750kg breaking figure is not a working-load limit. Terminations, bends and wear affect usable strength, and the complete system requires appropriate margins and hardware. Use the rope maker’s splicing method; no suitability for lifting people or other life-safety work is established. Fittings and finished ends are separate.
