Vultail 2in x 2in Female BSP Black Plastic Elbow for Boat Water Plumbing

This Vultail black plastic fitting joins two male threaded components through 2 inch and 2 inch female BSP connections. The elbow body provides equal-size connections at both ends in a compatible water-plumbing assembly. Check the male thread of each adjoining component against its corresponding female end: 2 inch at one end and 2 inch at the other. The elbow also changes the direction of the run, so the final orientation needs to suit both connections. Thread sizes should be verified before attempting to tighten the parts together. The body material and connection layout make it a size-specific water fitting; they do not establish universal compatibility with every onboard hose, pump or pipe system. Compare the complete connection arrangement before choosing a replacement, especially where more than one nominal size or thread type is present.

Choosing and using this product

Verify the mating threads and the sealing method recommended for the connected components. Start the threads squarely, avoid cross-threading and use an assembly method suitable for plastic fittings rather than relying on excessive force. Check that both adjoining parts can be brought together without side loading, and plan the assembly order before tightening the connection in a confined space. Support the surrounding pipework or equipment so the fitting is not used to carry an unsupported load. Keep enough clearance to reach the connection when it needs inspection or replacement. Confirm any required working pressure, temperature limit and fluid suitability with the supplier before using the fitting in a demanding application. After assembly, inspect the connection for leakage using the procedure appropriate to the complete system, and retain access for routine checks.
