Adjustable stainless wiper arm with push-connect blade attachment for RWB215, RWB2847 and RWB2849 standard wipers.

  • Adjustable length: 200-340mm

The 200-340mm adjustment range is the key selection detail for this push-on arm. Match it to the required reach on your existing RWB215, RWB2847 or RWB2849 installation and retain a blade connection that suits the push-connect end.

A replacement arm is useful when the motor still operates correctly but the existing arm is damaged, loose or no longer positions the blade where it is needed. This adjustable design lets you set the reach between the motor and blade to suit the windscreen layout. It is a practical service part for restoring an existing small-boat wiper installation while keeping the original system arrangement.

Before choosing an arm, identify the wiper system and compare the blade attachment with the part being removed. Measure the working length of the old arm in its fitted position, then check the proposed replacement setting against the windscreen edges. The adjustment range gives installation flexibility, but the usable setting still depends on the size of the glass, blade length and motor sweep.

As general fitting guidance, isolate the motor supply before handling the arm. Establish the motor parking position before setting the replacement arm on the shaft. Keep the blade clear of windscreen frames, catches and other fittings throughout its travel, allowing room for the complete blade rather than considering only the centre attachment point. Follow the relevant wiper instructions for securing and adjusting the assembly.

After fitting, test the system on wet glass and watch both ends of the sweep. Check that the blade remains supported against the windscreen and returns to the intended parked position. During regular maintenance, rinse away salt deposits, inspect the arm attachment and check the rubber blade for splitting or hardening. A correctly selected arm and a sound blade work together; replacing one component is also a good opportunity to inspect the other.
