Premium Above-Deck Marine Fuel Hose | 10mm x 50m | Boat Maintenance Parts

Premium Above-Deck Marine Fuel Hose - 10mm x 50m (RWB3661) is a replacement or installation option for the matching marine system. Australian-made grey PVC/nitrile hose with green stripe, flexibility, kink resistance and UV resistance. Suitable for E10, unleaded petrol and diesel in portable or above-deck tank installations. Not for below-deck installation because fuel vapour can permeate the hose.

Inside diameter: 10mm. Length: 50m flanged reel.

Choosing and using this product

Choose the hose by its inside diameter, fuel compatibility and permitted installation location. Above-deck hose should not be selected for a permanent below-deck run simply because the diameter matches. Check the requirements of the engine, tank, primer bulb and connectors as a complete fuel system. The listed reel length is useful when planning several runs, but each finished line still needs correctly matched end fittings and suitable support.

Measure the intended route with the tank secured and the engine able to move normally. Allow enough length for steering and service access without leaving loops where they can catch feet or controls. Keep the hose away from sharp edges, hot surfaces and crushing points. Check the existing fittings by hose inside diameter, rather than using the hose outside measurement to judge whether a barb is suitable.

Cut and assemble the hose using methods appropriate to fuel-line work, keeping debris out of the bore. Follow the installation requirements for clamps, bend radius and support. Do not use the hose to hold a portable tank in position. Where the route passes close to equipment or structure, check for rubbing through the engine’s movement range before returning the boat to service.

Inspect the finished connections during priming and before the engine is started, with ignition sources removed and any spilled fuel safely dealt with. Recheck the hose during routine maintenance for abrasion, cracking, hardening or damage at the fittings. Keep unused hose clean and protected in storage. If the fuel type or tank position changes, review the hose suitability again rather than assuming the original choice remains appropriate.
