The Power Centre brings battery storage and convenient accessory connections together in one vented housing. It is useful to consider for a boat setup where the battery needs a defined enclosure and accessible cigarette-style power outlets. The carry handle also makes handling the enclosure more convenient when arranging a removable power setup, subject to the installed battery's weight and the lifting procedure used.
Measure the battery against the internal dimensions before ordering, including the space required around its terminals and cable connections. Then check the outside dimensions against the intended compartment, allowing room to remove the lid, reach the outlets and secure the strap. The base dimensions are useful when assessing the supporting surface and mounting position.
Select connected accessories according to the outlet arrangement and fuse protection. Check plug fit and the combined electrical demands of the planned equipment before use. The battery-condition indicator provides a convenient reference at the lid; follow the battery manufacturer's charging and maintenance instructions when assessing the battery's ongoing condition and readiness.
For installation, position the box so its vents remain clear and cables can enter without sharp bends or pinching. Use the supplied restraint hardware in a mounting arrangement appropriate to the boat's structure. Keep access to the capped outlets and ensure connected plugs do not interfere with nearby equipment. Inspect the strap, connections and fuse arrangement during routine checks. Before moving the enclosure, disconnect external leads as required and plan a safe lift. A well-chosen location makes it easier to service the battery, inspect the wiring and organise the accessories that depend on the stored power.
