50-Mesh Replacement Cartridge Water Filter Screen for Marine Use - RWB3127

50-Mesh Replacement Cartridge Water Filter Screen. This replacement 50-mesh plastic screen is intended for the RWB3124, RWB3125 and RWB3126 in-line cartridge filters. It is the filter element rather than a complete in-line filter assembly. The associated cartridge diameter is 32mm. Choosing a replacement screen by the correct filter model helps avoid confusing the element with a complete housing or with screens from other strainer families. It is a useful service item when an existing compatible filter needs its screen renewed.

Choosing and using this product

Identify the filter body before ordering and compare its model number with the listed compatible filters. If the existing unit is unmarked or has been altered, confirm the replacement requirements before relying on appearance alone. Isolate the pump and relieve pressure in the line before opening the housing. Remove the old screen carefully and inspect the housing and any sealing components for damage or contamination. A new screen will not correct a cracked body or a leaking seal, so assess the complete filter while it is apart. Fit the replacement in the correct position and follow the filter's assembly guidance. Once reassembled, restore the system gradually and check for leaks and normal flow. Inspect the screen again if the line has recently been repaired or contains loose debris. Avoid using sharp tools that could damage the replacement mesh. A 50-mesh screen is a debris-filtering component, not a drinking-water purification treatment. Keep the element clean during storage and installation, and avoid distorting it when handling it. Record the filter model with the boat's maintenance information so the correct replacement can be identified at the next service. Keep access to the installed housing clear for future inspection.
