These pole-light storage clips provide a dedicated place to secure a removable light when it is not installed in its operating base. The black plastic clips are supplied as a pair and are intended for a 19 mm diameter tube. They are useful when a plug-in anchor-light pole would otherwise be left loose among other equipment, where the lens, shaft or electrical contacts could be knocked. The clips are a storage accessory, not an operating base or electrical connector. Select them by the diameter of the actual pole and by the available storage position in the boat.

Choosing and using this product

Measure the part of the pole that will sit in the clips before ordering. Choose two mounting points that support the pole securely without pressing on the lens, plug or other fragile parts. Check that the mounting surface can accept suitable fixings and that there is clearance behind it before drilling. Plan the stored position so the light does not obstruct access to safety equipment, lockers, controls or normal movement through the boat. Allow enough room to remove the pole without forcing it against nearby fittings. Where the light has a telescopic or folding section, stow it in the configuration recommended by its manufacturer. Keep the electrical contacts clean and dry, and inspect the clips for wear or damage during routine maintenance. The clips should hold the tube without being used to compensate for a poor fit or a damaged light pole. Confirm the light can be retrieved readily when needed and returned without scratching the lens. Check the installation after the first period of use to ensure the mounting points remain secure.
