Marine Five-Rod Vertical Storage Rack Pair with Black ABS and Foam Inserts

The RWB1194 storage-rack pair organises 5 fishing rods in a vertical layout at home or on board. Black ABS plastic frames contain closed-cell foam inserts that are slit and holed to hold the rods. The bases have moulded fastening holes, and mounting fasteners are supplied. The vertical pair has one rack with recesses for the butt ends and a second rack for the rod ends, so the two pieces perform different support roles. This model is supplied as a pair in a colour display box.

Choosing and using this product

Plan the lower rack height so the rod butts sit correctly in their recesses, then position the upper support to suit the rod lengths. Leave room above the tips to lift rods out without striking the ceiling or boat fittings. Check reel clearance between adjacent positions and make sure the foam opening suits each rod section without force. Confirm that the supplied fasteners suit the chosen surface, and use appropriate structural support or backing where required. Inspect behind a boat panel before drilling to avoid hidden wiring or hoses.

Before putting rods away, secure loose hooks and terminal tackle and check that reels do not press against neighbouring rods. Rinse salt from the rack and allow stored equipment to dry where practical. Inspect the holders and fastenings periodically, especially on a boat that is trailered or used in rough conditions. A storage rack organises equipment, but the way rods are restrained for travel should be assessed separately for the installation. Avoid forcing oversized handles or rod sections into a position that could bend the rod or damage the support.
