20mm In-Line Cartridge Water Filter with 50-Mesh Screen. This in-line cartridge filter has a transparent casing and a 50-mesh plastic filter screen. Hose-barb ends suit the specified hose size, providing a filter arrangement that can be placed within an appropriate water line. The transparent body makes the screen area visible for inspection. Overall length is 230mm and the cartridge diameter is 32mm, so the filter needs to be checked against both the available straight-line space and the clearance required for servicing. Choosing and using this product

Confirm that the filter is suitable for the intended fluid, pump and operating conditions before use. Match the hose bore to the barbs at both ends and plan enough room around the body to inspect and service it. Route the hose without sharp turns immediately beside the filter and support the line so the housing is not carrying the weight of long unsupported runs. Select clamps for the outside diameter of the fitted hose and check their seating. A mesh screen collects debris rather than making water safe to drink, so any drinking-water treatment requirement must be addressed separately. After fitting, run the system and inspect the housing and both connections for leakage or signs of restriction. Check the screen soon after commissioning if the plumbing work may have introduced debris. Isolate the pump and relieve system pressure before opening or removing the filter. Clean or replace the screen as appropriate, then reassemble and test the line before returning it to service. Keep the transparent casing accessible; hiding the filter behind permanent equipment makes inspection and routine maintenance unnecessarily difficult.
