Marine 12V 5W Bi-Colour Navigation Light Chrome Horizontal Mount RWB1934

This chrome horizontal-mount light provides combined port and starboard colours in one bi-colour fitting for a 12V boat-lighting circuit. The conventional design uses a 5W festoon bulb, so the specified bulb remains part of the fitting’s service requirements. The horizontal mounting arrangement is an important selection detail when comparing this product with another navigation light. The combined fitting brings both colours into one housing, making its orientation on the boat especially important. Choose the cover finish to suit the installation, while using the actual dimensions and mounting pattern to confirm physical fit.

Choosing and using this product

Check the intended positions against the vessel’s lighting arrangement before drilling or connecting the lamps. The units need to be mounted in their designed orientation, with the coloured sectors facing correctly and with equipment, covers and rails clear of the light paths. The supplied source gives no visibility-distance or vessel-length approval for this exact family. Confirm the required suitability with the supplier or installer rather than relying on ratings from a different LED model. Compare the existing footprint and cable access if replacing an older light; a similar housing size is not proof that the fastening holes are identical. Fit the supplied mounting or sealing component as instructed and make protected electrical connections suitable for the location. Test the combined light after wiring and confirm that it has not been installed facing the wrong direction. Keep the lenses clean and inspect the fittings after changes to nearby equipment. During routine checks, look for damaged covers, loose fasteners or wiring faults that could affect operation.
