Manta Extra Heavy Duty Marine Folding Bait Station with Six Rod Holders

The Manta RWB1993 is the large extra heavy duty folding bait station intended for larger boats and cruisers. Its New Zealand-made frame uses 32mm-diameter 316-grade stainless steel tube with heavy-duty welds. Six rod holders and one drink holder are welded to the frame, surrounding a large white nylon cutting board with a lip. The 40mm-diameter legs fold up for removal and storage and mount in suitable vertical stainless rod holders, which are optional rather than supplied as part of the mounting installation.

Choosing and using this product

Start by checking the full 1020mm width against the available stern space. Include the intended rods and reels in the layout, since the usable space required can exceed the bare station footprint. Confirm mounting-holder fit, insertion depth and station-leg spacing directly before drilling; leg centre spacing is not published in this listing. Inspect the supporting gunwale or deck and obtain suitable backing and fastening advice for the installation. Leave room to lift the station out and operate the folding legs, and plan a storage position that supports the assembly without trapping accessories against other gear.

After use, clean bait residue from the cutting surface and rinse the frame and mounting points with fresh water. Pay attention to joints and areas beneath the board where salt and debris can collect. Inspect the mounting connection before each outing and after relocating the station. Keep sharp tools stowed when they are not being used, and assess whether rods or other loose equipment need separate restraint while travelling. For long-term care, use cleaning products appropriate for nylon and stainless steel and avoid leaving abrasive or corrosive residue on either surface.
