This long rail-mount rod holder uses a 375mm-long electro-polished 316-grade stainless-steel tube with adjustable nylon mounting clamps. It can be fitted to vertical stanchions, posts or horizontal rails, giving yacht and powerboat owners a way to position rods using existing rail structures. The upper clamp slides along the tube to accommodate rail spacing, and the clamps can be turned to set an upright or angled position.

Choosing and using this product

Measure both the rail diameter and the centre-to-centre spacing before ordering. For this long model, the spacing must fall within the published 55–310mm range. Do not substitute the gap between the edges of the rails for the centre measurement. The stated 50mm tube size is not presented as an inside-bore measurement, so check the actual rod handle fit if clearance is tight.

The design can be used to make a rocket-launcher arrangement across two horizontal rails. Plan the spacing between individual holders around reel width and the path needed to remove a rod, then check that rods will clear antennas, a canopy and neighbouring equipment. The number of holders needed depends on your layout; each product is a single holder.

Trial-fit the correct rail inserts and orient the clamps before final tightening. The rail itself and its attachment to the boat must be suitable for the intended use. Avoid clamping over loose fittings or damaged rail sections, and check for movement before placing rods in the holder. After saltwater use, rinse the tube and clamps and inspect the fastening points regularly.

The longer tube accommodates wider rail spacing; check the full 375mm length against adjacent deck fittings before fitting.
