Jabsco Heavy-Duty Y Valve with 40mm and 25mm Ports. The Jabsco heavy-duty Y valve is designed for bilge pump or toilet-system diversion. Its polypropylene construction is corrosion and chemical resistant, and stainless hardware is used throughout the described assembly. The ports can rotate through 90 degrees to help accommodate the hose route. Three mounting feet support the body, and the valve can be padlocked. Service access is provided to the valve, while an optional extension kit allows operation through a bulkhead where that arrangement is appropriate.

Check the supplied port sizes against the hoses and equipment in the intended system. The valve comes with 40mm ports fitted and one additional 25mm straight port, so plan which connection arrangement is needed before assembling the plumbing. Choose a mounting position that leaves access to the control, padlock provision and service area. Rotating ports can help the route, but hoses still need adequate bend space and support. Secure the body using its mounting feet and follow the manufacturer's installation instructions for port positioning and sealing. For sanitation systems, establish the correct holding-tank and discharge arrangement and comply with local discharge requirements.
