Where a thread is specified, compare its nominal size with the hatch connection rather than measuring only the outside of the fitting.
Check the specified hose inside diameter and the space needed for the hose to turn without being forced against nearby equipment. This right-angle fitting changes the direction of the connection, but the hose still needs suitable support and a comfortable bend. Plan the orientation so the hose does not pull sideways on the hatch lid or interfere with another tank connection.
