Chrome Brass Body Complete Drain Plug Hang Pack. This complete coarse-thread drain plug combines a chrome-plated brass body with a plastic plug, coloured washer and retainer lug. The drain has a 17mm internal flow opening and a 25mm cut-out requirement. The metal body distinguishes it from the all-plastic complete drain options, while the closing plug remains plastic. It is supplied as one complete assembly. Check the installation dimensions and mounting arrangement before selecting it for a new opening or as a replacement for an existing drain.

Choosing and using this product

Measure the opening and inspect the surrounding mounting surface. The 25mm cut-out is the hole requirement; the 17mm figure describes the internal flow passage. Confirm the available space and compare the existing fitting arrangement if this is a replacement. A matching nominal hole size does not by itself confirm that the fastening, sealing or plug arrangement is the same. Follow appropriate marine guidance when installing and sealing the body, particularly in a hull-related drainage position. Check that the plastic plug engages the coarse thread smoothly and that the washer seats against a clean, sound surface. Do not use additional tightening to compensate for a damaged washer or incorrect fit. Test the drain for leakage before the boat returns to normal use.
