The Bluefin Wi-Fi DMX colour controller provides a dedicated control interface for compatible Mako and larger bronze through-hull underwater lights. A glass touchpad and colour wheel let the operator select the lighting appearance, while the built-in wireless connection supports direct connection from a compatible smartphone or tablet or connection through an existing Wi-Fi network. This is the controller component of a lighting system, rather than the underwater lamp itself. It is useful when the installation needs organised colour selection and separate lighting groups around the boat, with a control scheme planned alongside the lights and power equipment.

Choosing and using this product

Confirm the exact light and driver models before ordering the controller, particularly when extending an existing installation. The presence of Wi-Fi or DMX in another product’s description does not by itself establish compatibility. Decide which lights will form each group, such as transom or side lighting, and plan the control-cable route before mounting the equipment. Check that the supplied cable length suits the intended layout and that connections remain accessible for commissioning and service. Follow the current Bluefin instructions for wiring, addressing or grouping, network configuration and the terminator connection. Confirm current mobile-device and software requirements where phone or tablet control is important to the installation. Test the required colour, dimming and scene functions from the normal operating position before finalising the setup. Decorative lighting modes should be managed separately from the vessel’s navigation lights.
