Bluefin Marine Underwater LED Light Momentary Switch Kit 12/24V with Loom

The Bluefin light switch kit provides a dedicated momentary on/off control for the listed surface-mounted Bluefin underwater-light families. It is supplied with a wiring loom, bringing the switch and its associated wiring together for an installation planned around compatible lights. The kit is identified for P3, P6N, P12 and P24 lights and suits both of the listed boat-system voltages. It is a control accessory, so the light fittings and the rest of the circuit still need to be specified separately. Selecting the matching switch arrangement helps keep the operator controls consistent with the intended lighting system.

Choosing and using this product

Confirm the exact light model and its control requirements before choosing the switch position. A similar-looking rocker or a shared voltage rating does not establish compatibility with another light family. Decide where the operator should reach the control, then check the space behind the panel for the loom and connections. Follow the light and switch instructions for wiring, circuit protection and any particular sequence used to select lighting modes. Add together the demand of all connected lights before assessing the circuit against the switch rating; do not assume that one switch can operate an unlimited number of fittings. The stated ingress rating applies to the product as specified and does not make exposed wiring connections suitable for immersion. Route the loom so connections can be inspected and serviced, without chafing against panel edges or nearby equipment. Once installed, test the intended on/off or mode-control operation from the helm and label the control clearly. Keep the wiring information with the boat’s electrical records, especially where several independent lighting groups are fitted.
