Adjustable Livebait Tank Base Water Flow Valve for Marine Plumbing - RWB30

Adjustable Livebait Tank Base Water Flow Valve. This variable-flow valve is intended to be installed at the base of a livebait tank. It allows adjustment of the water and oxygen flow from the pump to the tank, providing a practical way to manage the supply during fishing. The valve is also designed to prevent water loss while underway. To empty the tank, the stated operating method is to turn off the pump and open the valve. Its usefulness depends on choosing a mounting arrangement that leaves the control accessible.

Choosing and using this product

Review the existing tank and pump plumbing before ordering or fitting the valve. Confirm the connection dimensions directly, because the valve's description does not provide a hose diameter. Check that the planned position at the tank base allows the control to be operated without reaching into moving equipment or obstructing another service point. Arrange the associated hose runs without kinks and make sure they are properly supported. Once installed, test the range of adjustment with the pump running and the tank in its normal operating condition. Observe the water level and drainage behaviour rather than assuming one setting will suit every operating situation. When emptying the tank, switch the pump off before opening the valve as directed. If the system behaves differently underway and at rest, have the plumbing arrangement checked before relying on it. Maintain access to the valve for inspection and cleaning. Debris in a livebait system can affect the behaviour of valves and water outlets, so include the tank plumbing in normal maintenance. Before removing any fitting, isolate the pump and control the water in the system. Recheck all disturbed connections after reassembly.
