Bronze 1 1/4in BSP Through-Hull Skin Fitting with Lock Nut for Marine Plumbing

This 1 1/4 inch bronze skin fitting provides a threaded through-hull connection for a carefully matched marine plumbing installation. The fitting is made from polished genuine gunmetal bronze, with a tapered outer head, a solid backing nut and a long shaft. The tapered head is intended to reduce drag at the outside of the hull, while the long shaft provides room for a valve connection on the inside. The quoted size identifies the male BSP thread, so it is the thread specification to compare with the receiving component. It does not describe a hose barb or establish the required hull cut-out. Choosing the right fitting involves matching the connection, the hull arrangement and the adjoining valve, rather than selecting a similar-looking outside diameter.
