Lalizas Classic LED 20 Boat 360° Anchor Navigation Light - Black Base Mount

The Lalizas Classic LED 20 360° anchor light combines the familiar Classic-series format with LED lighting. The all-round anchor function is intended to be visible around the boat from a suitable unobstructed position. Its separate fitting can be useful when planning the anchor-light part of an existing lighting installation. Look beyond the appearance of the housing and consider nearby rails, aerials, equipment and structures that could screen the light. This range uses the same size and screw-hole pattern as the corresponding conventional-bulb Classic series, which is useful when assessing a refit. The replaceable light source also gives you a defined spare to identify during maintenance rather than choosing a generic bulb by appearance.

Choosing and using this product

Check the available horizontal mounting area and plan a protected cable route beneath or beside it. Make sure nearby fittings will not screen the light from the directions in which it needs to be seen. Allow practical access for inspection and servicing before choosing the final position or drilling the base. Inspect the view around the whole boat; a clear view from the cockpit alone does not establish an unobstructed all-round installation. When replacing an earlier Classic light, inspect the old mounting surface and wiring as well as comparing the screw positions. Keep the correct series and spare-bulb reference with the boat’s maintenance information. Isolate the lighting circuit before working on it, use connections appropriate for the marine environment, and check operation before departure. Match the complete installation to the vessel and current local requirements; the product rating alone does not establish that a particular mounting arrangement is suitable.
