Choosing and using this product

The 150 x 90mm pad is held by its plastic hand grip, giving a compact hand-operated format for targeted cleaning work.

Choose the cleaning method to suit the surface before using a scouring pad. Waterline deposits, shower surfaces and deck finishes can differ greatly in their tolerance of abrasion. Test the pad with light pressure on a small, inconspicuous area and check the result before working across a visible panel.

Rinse away loose grit first so it is not dragged across the surface. Use a cleaner only where its label confirms compatibility with both the surface and the intended task. Keep different cleaning chemicals separate and follow their directions for gloves, eye protection, ventilation and rinsing.

Hold the plastic grip securely and work in short, controlled sections. Increase the number of gentle passes before increasing pressure. Persistent marks may need a different treatment rather than harder scrubbing, particularly on polished, painted or clear surfaces that can show scratches.

When cleaning at the waterline, plan a stable working position and keep the scrubber within easy reach. Do not lean beyond safe support from a deck or tender. Control any cleaning residue and contaminated water according to the product label and local marina requirements, keeping chemical runoff out of the water wherever required.

Rinse the pad after use to remove trapped dirt and inspect it before the next job. A worn or contaminated pad can transfer grime or damage a finish even when the handle is still sound. Store the scrubber away from tools or loose debris that could become embedded in its cleaning face. Keep a separate applicator for delicate surfaces so abrasive and non-abrasive cleaning tasks are not inadvertently mixed.
