The AXIS RWB5481 is the small rod-holder-mounted version of this injection-moulded bait-board range. The board is made from UV-stabilised high-density polyethylene and combines a dedicated cutting area with two recessed tackle or bait holders and a large recessed draining tray. Moulded centimetre and inch scales give a convenient reference along the board. Its compact overall size is useful when planning a bait-preparation surface on a smaller stern layout, while the single adjustable aluminium leg defines how this particular package attaches to the boat.
Choosing and using this product
Check the rod holder's opening, usable depth and angle against the supplied leg before installation. The board listing does not state a universal holder size, so compare the actual connection rather than relying on a nominal rod-holder description. Position the 515 x 355mm board at a convenient working height and check clearance around the motor and stern. Leave the 10mm underside drain barb accessible if planning a hose. This is the single-leg package; RWB5480 is the separate small rail-mount alternative.
After a fishing session, remove loose tackle and clean the working surface, recesses and draining tray. Rinse salt from the mounting assembly and inspect the adjustment points before the next outing. Keep knives stowed when not being used, and check the board is securely supported before cutting. The moulded scales are convenient on-board references; where a catch measurement matters, check it with an appropriate measuring method and the relevant requirements. UV stabilisation describes the board material, but routine cleaning and sensible storage remain worthwhile parts of looking after the assembly.
