The Manta RWB1977 deluxe folding bait station adds four stainless rod holders and a drink holder around a removable nylon cutting board. The New Zealand-made 316-grade stainless steel frame has heavy-duty welds, and the legs fold underneath for storage. Mounting is through suitable standard vertical rod holders with a 40mm inside diameter. The published overall dimensions and leg centres make this model useful to assess on paper before checking the actual boat, particularly where the stern already has permanent fittings or limited working room.

Choosing and using this product

Measure the available 650 x 520mm footprint and compare the 305mm leg centres with the proposed mounting points. Check the rod holders' usable depth and straight orientation as well as bore size. Allow space to lift the station free, operate the folding legs and stow it without loading accessories against other equipment. Trial-fit the intended rods and drink container before finalising the layout, keeping reels, rod tips and the working edge clear of the outboard and boarding area. The listed 650mm overall height is a station dimension; the finished working height also depends on how the installation sits in the boat.

After use, clean bait residue from the cutting surface and rinse the frame and mounting points with fresh water. Pay attention to joints and areas beneath the board where salt and debris can collect. Inspect the mounting connection before each outing and after relocating the station. Keep sharp tools stowed when they are not being used, and assess whether rods or other loose equipment need separate restraint while travelling.
