White Nylon Butt Hinge 60 x 38mm Pair Marine Hardware Cabin Fitting
Choose the white nylon butt hinge - 60 x 38mm - pair when its dimensions and mounting style match your panel. The specified size makes it straightforward to compare this exact variant with the hinge being replaced.
A nylon body is paired with a stainless steel hinge pin. Match the listed colour to the surrounding fittings and check the size of each mounting surface. Colour variants should be selected by their individual codes so the intended finish is supplied.
This variant has a 20/40mm leaf-length ratio. The 20mm and 40mm sections need different amounts of mounting space, so check their orientation against the panel.
Supplied as a pair, this listing lets you plan the two hinge positions together. Check fixing centres against the actual hardware before reusing existing holes, and choose fixings to suit the supporting material.
Choosing and using this product
Include the attachment points in routine boat inspections. Keep moving or seating surfaces clear where applicable, and follow the product’s care instructions for its material and finish. Retaining the size and part code is useful when replacing another fitting elsewhere on the boat.
Consider how the fitting will be used in the normal boat layout. Allow room for hands, tools and any intended movement, and check that it does not obstruct an access opening or another control. Offer the parts into position before marking or making permanent changes.
A moulded fitting should be compared by its actual shape and connection details, not only its nominal size. Check the available clearance and the condition of the adjoining component. Use the listed application when deciding where it belongs in the boat’s equipment arrangement.
