    ### Weather-Resistant Marine In-Line Blade Fuse Holder - 30A, Automotive Blade Type

RWB2084 is a weather-resistant in-line holder for automotive-type blade fuses, with a maximum rating of 30A.

Weather-resistant in-line fuse holder for automotive-type blade fuses.

### Choosing and using this product

An in-line holder provides a dedicated location for a fuse within an individual wiring run. Consider it when adding circuit protection to a compatible accessory installation or replacing a holder that has become damaged during service. Its automotive blade format makes the fuse style straightforward to identify when organising spares for the boat, while the weather-resistant construction is useful around marine electrical installations.

Choose the fuse value to suit the connected equipment and cable protection requirements, within the holder's maximum rating. That maximum describes the holder's capacity; it should not be used as the default fuse selection for every accessory. Before buying, check the blade fuse dimensions and compare the proposed holder with the available space and the connection arrangement in the wiring run.

As installation guidance, plan a position that can be reached for inspection and fuse replacement without dismantling surrounding equipment. The appropriate position along the circuit should follow the wiring design and equipment instructions. Support the cable on either side so movement does not pull on the holder, and protect the wiring from sharp edges, heat and abrasion. Isolate the supply before making or changing connections.

Label the circuit and note the selected fuse rating in the boat's electrical records. When investigating a blown fuse, identify the cause before fitting a replacement of the specified type and value. Check the holder's contacts and cable connections at the same time. For an onboard spares kit, organise matching fuses by rating and keep them dry and clearly marked. A little planning at installation makes later fault-finding and routine checks much easier when access is limited.

When choosing the location, consider how easily a dropped fuse could be retrieved during servicing. A clear working area around the holder is valuable when replacing small electrical parts aboard.
