    ### Thermal Push-Reset Marine Circuit Breaker - 20A, Push-Button Overload Protection

SP167 is the 20A thermal push-reset breaker for servicing a circuit with the matching protection requirement.

Thermal overload circuit breaker with push-button reset. Also listed as a replacement for compatible switch panels, including RWB539.

### Choosing and using this product

A push-reset breaker is useful when maintaining an existing switch panel or preparing a replacement component for the boat's electrical spares kit. The reset button gives you a straightforward way to restore the circuit after an overload has been investigated and corrected. It is particularly worth checking the fitted breaker before a trip if the button is damaged, difficult to operate or no longer stays in its normal operating position.

Choose the current rating from the requirements of the circuit and its wiring, using the existing panel documentation as a starting point. For a replacement, compare the original part number, mounting arrangement, terminal connections and electrical requirements before ordering. A matching current figure is only one part of selecting the correct component. Consider the connected equipment's operating demand and any starting load with the person responsible for the electrical installation.

For installation, isolate the relevant supply and provide enough working space behind the panel to inspect the connections. Route the wiring so the terminals are supported without pulling on the breaker, and keep the reset button accessible from the operating side. Label the circuit clearly so another person can identify the protected equipment when using the panel or investigating a fault.

If a breaker trips, switch off the connected equipment and establish the cause before resetting it. Inspect for damaged wiring, loose connections or equipment problems, and follow the equipment maker's troubleshooting instructions. During routine maintenance, check that the panel remains secure and the terminals are clean. Recording the fitted part and rating alongside the circuit label makes subsequent servicing and replacement selection easier.

For the 20A version, verify the circuit documentation carefully when replacing a breaker among visually similar panel components.
