Rolled band edges, solid trunnions and a 12 mm hex bolt form the heavy-duty fastening arrangement. This design is intended for fuel-fill and exhaust hose applications.
Use the 74-79mm range to check fit over the hose and its fitting. The hose internal diameter alone does not give the assembled outside diameter needed to choose a clamp.
The materials differ by component: the band and bridge are stainless steel, while the bolt is hardened steel and the trunnion is zinc-plated. Select by this complete construction rather than treating the whole clamp as stainless steel.
