    ### Star brite Liquid Rubbing Compound for Heavy Oxidation 473ml Boat Care

Star brite Liquid Rubbing Compound for Heavy Oxidation — product code 513012. Use a liquid rubbing compound when the finish needs oxidation and scratch removal before its protective polishing stage. Star brite offers separate medium- and heavy-oxidation versions for fibreglass, metal and painted surfaces.

The liquid can be applied by hand or buffer and is formulated for easy removal. Match the stated oxidation grade to the job. Premium Marine Polish with PTEF is the recommended follow-up for maintaining the restored finish.

This listing is the 473ml version. Check this size and variant when comparing it with the other options in the range.

### Choosing and using this product

Plan the area to be treated and check any stated coverage or mixing information. Container volume alone does not establish how much work can be completed, because application method and surface condition can change the amount required. Buy the size appropriate to the planned task.

Prepare the surface using the product’s own directions and check compatibility in the recommended way. Allow for any specified drying, curing or finishing stages when planning the job. Avoid adding an unsupported cure time or dilution ratio from a different product.

Check the package contents when buying a kit or repair product. Resin, hardener, cloth, applicators and preparation materials are not interchangeable, and not every listing includes a complete set. Identify any separately required items before beginning the repair.

Keep the original label and instructions with any remaining material, and follow the stated storage requirements. Note the exact product reference when matching a later maintenance purchase. Using the intended product for each stage makes the process easier to plan and repeat.
