S/S Transom Mount Water Pickup
Provide a transom pickup for a self-priming livewell pump with this stainless steel assembly. The cast 316 stainless steel head is installed above the waterline and must be fitted with a 3/4-inch ball valve.
The pickup can be cut to the required length. Its maximum length is 290 mm and it suits a transom width up to 80 mm, giving you two dimensions to check before fitting.
Choosing and using this product
Plan the connection from the system outward: identify the fluid application, mating thread or hose size, and the space available for the fitting. A nominal pipe-thread size is a separate measurement from a hose diameter, so compare the correct dimension at each connection.
Before ordering a mounting component, check the space on both sides of the proposed location. The visible footprint, fixing access and clearance needed to remove the supported item are separate considerations. Compare those details with the existing installation so the component can be positioned usefully.
Keep service points accessible and follow the relevant system instructions for fastening, sealing and hose support. Avoid forcing a hose or thread to compensate for an unsuitable fitting. Confirm the finished connection and normal system operation before putting the installation back into use.

For a replacement, inspect the existing fitting and adjoining hose before ordering. Consider the direction of the connection as well as its size. An elbow, straight fitting or barbed tail changes the route and clearance needed even when the nominal connection size is similar.
