SOLAS Self-Adhesive Reflective Tape - 50mm - 45.7m Roll
Choose the full 45.7 m roll of 50 mm silver reflective tape when that quantity suits your equipment-marking work. The self-adhesive SOLAS-grade tape is distinct from the per-metre listing. Check the required lengths and application instructions before cutting material from the roll.
Choosing and using this product
Colour and character height work together when you are choosing a layout. Compare the selected colour against the actual hull finish, and measure the available flat area for the entire sequence, including spaces. A contrasting background helps the finished identification remain easy to distinguish.
Follow the adhesive instructions for cleaning, drying and applying the characters to the intended surface. Avoid stretching an individual character to correct poor spacing. Keep the backing and remaining pieces organised until both sides are finished, particularly where similar-looking letters or numbers appear in the sequence.
Plan the complete registration layout before peeling away any backing. Write down the required sequence, count repeated characters and allow for each side of the hull. This makes it easier to order the right number of identical characters without ending up with gaps in an otherwise finished set.
Use a temporary guide to check the spacing and baseline before committing to the adhesive. Position the complete sequence first rather than treating each character as an isolated sticker. Curved panels, nearby fittings and existing graphics can affect where the full set will sit comfortably.
For a small repair, compare the existing lettering with this exact size and colour before ordering. Replacing a single damaged character is simpler when the original pack details are known. For a fresh layout, order all required characters together so you can check the arrangement before application.
